CNET Editors` Review (Asus N10J)
Almost every Netbook we`ve seen to date has featured the same basic setup: the Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM, and Windows XP. We`re even seeing less difference in screen size, as most vendors have settled on a 9- or a 10-inch screen. Really, the only differentiation between Netbook configurations is that some use a solid-state drive while others come outfitted with a larger capacity spinning drive--usually a 160GB hard drive. Adding a new wrinkle to the Netbook formula is the Asus N10J, a 10-inch system from the company that pretty much single-handedly kicked off the Netbook craze with its Eee PC. It may look like your standard Netbook, but the Asus N10J is unique because underneath it features discrete, switchable graphics. You`ll pay a bit more for the privilege, but the end result works for gaming on the go, as long as you don`t mind dialing down your game settings.

Asus N10J Review
It`s the largest Netbook we`ve seen to date – the 10.2-inch screen and 1024 x 600-pixel resolution is standard, but a thick bezel around the display makes this machine closer to 12.1 inches in size. With a weight of 1.5kg, it`s also one of the heaviest Netbooks. The extra weight is down to the use of a dedicated nVidia graphics card – a first for a Netbook. It`s an unusual choice, but it gives the N10J a level of performance previously unseen on a machine of this size. However, the extra power is bound to affect battery life.

ASUS N10J-A2 Review
The $799 ASUS N10J-A2 is a premium netbook that stands out from the competition for its very good graphics performance, large 320GB hard drive, and speedy Express Gate OS. For business users, we recommend the HP Mini 2140 ($529) over this netbook because of its much longer battery life and superior keyboard. Also, the $399 Eee PC 1000HE, which lasts over 7 hours on a charge, offers better bang for your buck. But if you want a lightweight system with plenty of power, the N10J-A2 is a tempting choice.

Another Day, Another Netbook. Or is it? - Asus N10J A2 Review
Another day, another netbook. This time around, the father of netbooks, Asus, has launched a very powerful netbook with hardware specs rivalling mid end notebooks. The new Asus N10J A2 is probably the most powerful netbook available right now. It is actually a full notebook compressed to look like a netbook. It is very similar to the Asus N10JC which we reviewed some time back, it has almost the same design and build, but is just a bit more powerful. It certainly has raised the bar when it comes to netbook performance. It is also priced quite high compared to most other netbooks, you could easily procure a regular, more powerful notebook for the same price if you want to compromise on the portability. The Asus N10J A2 has almost everything going for it, just it’s high price is a deterrent. In this review, we check out the Asus N10J A2 and see if it really deserves the $800 it is priced at.

Netbook with a Difference
Here is a netbook PC with a difference. Almost every netbook PC has the same features and configuration with Atom N270 1.6 GHz and 1 GB RAM. Asus has launched the new N10J-A1 which has a powerful graphics card with 256 MB internal memory that can be switched OFF and ON to extend the battery backup. Asus N10J-A1 has a great configuration and delivers excellent performance as compared to any other 10 or 10.2 inch netbook PC. Besides having some minor issues like poor hinges, weak video decoding and absence of an optical drive, this mini PC is a great option for many of us who are planning to buy a 12 inch notebook laptop and won’t mind paying a little less for a powerful and compact PC like Asus N10J-A1.
